Amendment No. P00001 is issued to the above combined synopsis/solicitation for the purchase of an Oak Bar for the MWR at El Centro. This amendment is issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR 13 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only amendment of the above solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written amendment will not be issued. This amendment is issued to amend the statement of work to include the questions and answers that have been received to the statement of work. The question and answers are as follows: (1) Question: Is the contractor responsible for the beer line run from the bar to beer cooler? If yes, how far are they from the bar? If not, what is the manufacturer and serial number of the existing system? Answer: There is no existing system. Note: The new unit is to contain a similar unit built in. (2) Question: Will utility connections be made from existing utilities at the bar location? Answer: Not anticipating any abnormal additional load requirements, Public Works has assured me that existing power will be sufficient. Connections will be made from existing bar. (3) Question: What types of wall and floor preparations are required that are referenced the specifications? Answer: Remove mirrors from wall and allow for access to small electrical panel in back wall. Thick rubber matting must be installed on the floor behind the serving bar. The closing date of solicitation N00244-98-M-0388 is hereby extended and changed to read: September 11, 1998. No further changes apply.
