The Integrated Space Command & Control (ISC2) contract is a vehicle for acquiring the NORAD/USSPACECOM Warfighting Support System (N/UWSS), and for evolving, sustaining, and providing operational support for the Cheyenne Mountain Complex (CMC) Legacy C2 Systems; CINC Mobile Alternate Headquarters (CMAH); AFSPACE Space Operations Center (SOC); USSPACECOM Space Operations Center (SPOC); AFSPACE Missile Operations Center (MOC) and the Space Forward Users (e.g., AMWC, NMCC, PACAF, USAFE, etc.). In addition, this contract vehicle will require integration amongst all of the systems listed above, as well as provide for integration of these systems with other DOD C2 systems (e.g., SBIRS, NMD, C2IPS, TBMCS, etc.). ISC2 goals include: reducing the cost of ownership; increasing flexibility to respond to rapidly evolving mission needs and technology insertion opportunities; and improving interoperability between Space C2 and the warfighting CINC support systems. Contract Value is currently estimated at $110-130 million per year for approximately a 10 year period and current planning calls for a release of Sources Sought/Request for Information CBD in early Oct 1998 with a draft RFP in early 1999. The Strategic and Nuclear Deterrence Command & Control System Program Office of Electronic Systems Center will sponsor an ISC2 Industry Day at 0900 on 17 Sep 1998 in the "El Paso Douglas Room," Doubletree Hotel Colorado Springs World Arena, 1775 East Cheyenne Mountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, Colorado, (719) 576-8900. Industry Day will consist of one session involving all attendees, with a planned end time of 1:00 p.m. Attendees will be presented with current information about the scope of the ISC2 contract, systems and locations involved, RFP and document release schedule, bidders' library information, discussions on contract type and pre-qualifications and the status of previously asked industry questions.
