The Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority ("Sound Transit") is interested in identifying firms that would be interested in participating in a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Sound Transit's Financial Management System. The information will be used to identify viable options. Sound Transit expects to initiate a competitive procurement process in October 1998. 2. This RFP will announce Sound Transit's intent to purchase software and hardware to replace the agency's current financial management system. The purpose of the RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors who are responsive to the agency's short- and long-term needs. Sound Transit is seeking a comprehensive integrated solution to replacing systems. Sound Transit is looking to obtain proposals from vendors who can provide an integrated solution to meet the requirements for (1) software, (2) hardware (server equipment), (3) installation, (4) implementation services, (5) integration services, (6) training, and (7) support. 3.
