PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF SECURITY EQUIPMENT: The General Services Administration, Mid-Atlantic Region, Chesapeake Field Group requires the installation of a Card Access and Closed Circuit (CCTC) system at the George H. Fallon Federal Building in Baltimore, MD. All components, wiring, supervision, labor, materials & equipment shall be supplied by the installation contractor. The system shall be installed on the first, sixth, and seventh floors and sally port (basement garage). The system shall consist of proximity card readers utilizing eight position reader controllers (minimum) and color cameras with multiplexing and recording capabilities. All work performed by the contractor under this contract shall be warranted by the contractor for a period of one (1) year after final acceptance of all security systems work. This project shall be installed in three stages with the sixth and seventh floors being the first stage, sallyport the second stage, and the first floor being the third stage. The three stages will be bid as one lump sum project. The contractor shall complete the required installation within 60 days of contract award/Notice to Proceed for the sixth, seventh, and sallyport (Phases 1 and 2). A separate Notice to Proceed will be issued for the first floor, phase 3 referenced above and must be completed within 60 days of the Notice to Proceed. It is the intent of the Government to award a firm fixed price contract for this work. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder pursuant to the responsibility criteria outlined in the specifications. The applicable SIC Code is 7382. This procurement is set aside for small businesses whose average annual receipts for the past three years do not exceed $9.0 million.
