Work consists of providing all labor, supplies, material, supervision, transportation, equipment, and all else necessary to install approximately 1,900 sf of low profile ( aproximately a 3 inch gap between existing and new flooring), cable access, vinyl covered, raised computer flooring in Red Flag Bldg 217 at Nellis AFB NV. Work shall include12 single cell service modules, electrical hook-ups, installation, and an 85 foot ramp. Raised floor panels shoud be easily removable by one person, interchangeable, and susitable for installation of various floor coverings. The grid system which the new flooring is supported by must be able to function as an under floor component management system changeable by the user. The contractor will not install any under floor components under the proposed order. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 with an on-site performance period of 15 calendar days. The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 1799 with a three year average annual emerging small business size standard of $3.5 million. It is anticipated that the proposed contract listed here will be restricted to ESB concerns; however, all firms are requested to respond to this notice if interested in bidding. If a sufficient number of qualified ESB firms do not respond, the solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued and a site visit held on 21 September 1998. Telephone requests will not be honored. Only written requests will be accepted.
