The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue orders under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-99-G-0024 with L-3 Communication Systems -- West (L-3 Comm) for the supplies and services necessary to provide engineering, technical, and field support to fabricate and integrate C-band and Ku-band datalinks and antennas associated with the Predator Medium Altitude Endurance (MAE) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). L-3 Comm is the sole designer, developer, and supplier of the MAE UAV C-band and Ku-band systems, and as such, is the only source with the technical expertise and data required to meet the Government's needs.
