78 -- COMMERCIAL SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT DUE 092598 POC TSgt Chris M. Vaccarella, Contracting Officer, 719.333.3961 This synopsis issued to announce a commercial sponsorship requirement for the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) Lacrosse team and the USAFA Athletic Department (AH). This synopsis issued in accordance with Air Force Manual 64-302, Nonappropriated Fund Contracting. The commercial sponsorship requirement shall outline those items and incentives provided by the sponsor; those items required to be purchased by the USAFA, and the promotion of the sponsor's name at lacrosse events. The USAFA's requirement for a commercial sponsorship agreement shall include the following areas and items: discounts on team uniforms to include footwear; complimentary uniform apparel for team coaches; Final Four and championship incentives; and other incentives deemed appropriate by the offeror. The AH shall be required to purchase specified amounts of items as required by the sponsorship agreement. The award of any commercial sponsorship agreement shall be to the offeror who presents the best-value to the USAFA in terms of items and incentives provided, those required to be purchased by the USAFA, and any other items, incentives, or programs offered. Items to be purchased from of a commercial sponsorship agreement which result from this announcement shall be purchased with Nonappropriated Funds (NAF). Any interested firms wishing to submit a commercial sponsorship agreement may do so in writing. Agreements shall be addressed to the Operational Contracting Office, 8110 Industrial Drive, Suite 200, USAF Academy, CO 80840-2315, and shall be submitted no later than 3:00 P.M. (MDT) on 25 Sep 98.
