V -- FACILITIES AND SERVICES OF HOTELS IN WASHINGTON, DC METRO AREA SOL CC-98-Q-0041 POC Thora Stanwood, Contract Specialist, 202-874-4716 SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires, on an as needed basis, the facilities and services of qualified hotels in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for the base year 1999 and option year 2000. The OCC anticipates issuing a contract to hotel(s) in Washington, DC for an estimated maximum of 6000 room nights; a contract to a hotel in Northern Virginia for an estimated maximum of 4000 room nights; and a contract to a hotel in the Washington, DC metropolitan area for an estimated maximum of 4000 room nights. Meeting rooms and related services will also be needed in these hotels. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: The hotel(s) must 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and hold a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following ratings: First class or higher per the Official Hotel Guide; two stars or higher per the Mobil Travel Guide; three diamonds or higher per AAA; three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner.
