Bell, 770/919-5115 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/service prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F09609-98-Q-0030 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-5. Dobbins Air Reserve Base, (Marietta) Georgia is soliciting for the acquisition and installation of the following audiovisual equipment to be delivered and installed in the 94th Airlift Wing Conference Room, Second Floor, Building 838. CLIN 0001: One (1) each Integrated Smart Electronic Presentation Lectern (SEPL), to include cable harness and umbilical, filtered power connector, two (2) powered speakers, video graphics adapter (VGA) amplifier, preview monitor, infrared (IR) remote control, remote control relay device, and Pentium II MMX processor with minimum of 512KB L2 cache 128 MB RAM expandable to 384MB, document camera, computer control VCR, computer control digital video disk, network interface card (NIC), as well as a software developers kit: One (1) each High Performance 3-Lens Graphic Projector System with electromagnetic focus, 1000 lumen output and multi-sync resolution to 1024 x 768 or better, ceiling mount and added input for computer, video, and svhs; 1 each -- 84" high x 84" wide, with 2" black border, ceiling mounted motorized projection screen with single station control and IR remote control; Six (6) each SEPL integrated ceiling mountable speakers. CLIN 0002: all installation to include integration, mounting projector, mounting screen, connection, cabling and wall plate. Adequate ceiling structure support, electrical, local area network, and cable TV outlets and conduits, power sources, and heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), for the audiovisual system exist in the building. Contractor shall be responsible for all materials and labor required to hookup all these sources. All equipment shall be furnished with the appropriate Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) hardware and software to ensure complete integration. In addition the contractor shall provide at least 4 hours of on-the-job training for Government personnel and one year on-site warranty for the system to include parts, materials, labor and service calls. Period of performance shall be 90 days from contract award date. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this procurement is 5043; size standard 500 employees. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside and will follow simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, shall apply along with Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Evaluation of quotes will be in accordance with FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, and based on price and technical evaluation of product information furnished with the quote. Quotes shall include a completed copy of FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, shall apply with addenda DFARS 252.232-7009, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (CCR). Far clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, shall be incorporated into any contract resulting from this notice. Applicable clauses cited in 52.212-5 are 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.225-3 and 52.222-41, as well as Department of Labor Wage Determination 94-2133 (Rev 11) dated 06/01/1998.
