Blunt (504)678-0348 DESC: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M67861-98-Q-0085 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-10. The standard industrial code is 3674 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for one line item as follows. Line item 0001: Quantity 003 each; Item Description: Module, Sound V-Ready, HVAC, to be used by musicians practicing various band instruments. The module is to be placed in the main hall and contain the unit studio mixing console, amplifier rack, studio monitors, and hard-disc recording consoles. The module will be configured as a rectangle with a door at one end, that end and its corresponding side will be 10'8". The long sides of the rectangle will be 13'2". One of the long sides shall be modified to include two (2) glass panels of 2'x 30" to allow the musician within the modules visual contact. Delivery of all items is 30 days after award of contract to be delivered FOB destination to: Marine Forces Reserve, 4400 Dauphine Street, New Orleans, La. 70146 The provisions at FAR52.212-2, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies.
