Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and supplies to remove daily and dispose of medical waste for the VA Medical Center, Nashville, TN. Requirements will include furnishing approximately 44 red, 96 gallon collection carts, with wheels, and a 40 foot storage trailer. Contractor will be required to autoclave and/or incinerate all waste. Waste will not be segregated by category and will require no special handling by the VA personnel except to place waste into the contractor furnished containers and place the containers into the trailer. Certifications of destruction are required. Contract period will be from 1-1-99 through 9-30-99 with two 1-year option periods. Solicitation documents will be available o/a 9-28-98.
