The Base Communications Office, Seavey Island, located at Portsmouth NH has a requirement for the procurement of Commerical Cellular Telephone Service. The Contractor shall provide service 24 hours per day, seven days per week, in the Portsmouth New Hampshire area for a period of 12 months with one option year. Service shall be provided as follows (1) commercial cellular phone service for a minimum of 73 analog and 34 digital phones on a monthly unlimited usage flat rate basis; (2) cellular service and associated roaming fees for incoming and outgoing calls for all areas not serviced by the contractor on a flat fee per minute of airtime basis. All long distance charges shall be billed by the prime contractor only and at a fair and reasonable market rate. The contractor shall provide a service area map showing the home calling area and all expanded calling areas served by the Contractor. The Government also requires the purchase of 34 digital and 36 analog cellular phone sets. An additional 37 phones are currently in use. The Contractor shall provide specifications and prices for standard cellular phone sets (both digital and analog]. During the contract period service is projected to expand by up to 77 additional analog phones. This is a combined CBD synopsis/solicitation for commercial items on a fixed-price basis prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number N68057-98-Q-7004 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The SIC code is 4812 and the Business Size Standard is 1,500 employees.
