Ross, Los Angeles, California. These services are required over a period of seven (7) months, and are not expected to exceed five hundred sixty (560) manhours in total. The services are required in support of wearable technologies design efforts being conducted by the Department of Defense, specifically, the Microcontrolable Multifunctional Interface Module (MMIM) System. To this end, the DoD requires the benefit of Ms. Ross' design expertise and the benefit of her 1997 study/user-group interviews, and subsequent catalogue of individual soldier preferences, biases, rules and wisdom of packing, carrying and wearing the tools they need to carry into the battle.
