Harding, 315/764-3244 Furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials and perform all work for renovating an existing 1,800 square foot, single story office building to accommodate a Vessel Traffic Control (VTC) Center and offices at Eisenhower Lock near Massena, New York. The work will include demolition of existing and construction of new interior walls, removal of an existing door and window and installation of new exterior door, installation of a new HVAC unit, and installation of conduits and wiring from the existing VTC Center in an adjacent building where the telephone demark and radio base station equipment are located to the building being renovated, and for telephones, computers, radios and closed circuit television equipment within the building being renovated. Cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation package may be requested by mail or fax and must be received no later than 15 days after Commercie Business Daily publication. There is a $50.00 non-refundable charge per set of specificationsand drawings. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. This solicitation is issued in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES FOR MINORITY, WOMEN-OWNED AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short-Term Lending Program(STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.00.
