Miscellaneous Improvements to the Destructor Room. Work consists of providing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof. Work is to include improving the flow of traffic and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the area. The project requires the removal of existing counters and associated electric and plumbing. The project requires the removal of the tile floor. The contractor may also remove one interior wall and the drop gate. The contractor will design/build or purchase new counters to replace those which were removed and replumb and rewire as necessary. The performance period for this project shall be 60 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed, however the actual on-site renovation work must be accomplished in a 14 day period. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. Work shall be performed by a general contractor who has construction experience in restaurant renovations. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA and OSHA requirements. The approximate cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project will be performed at the NIMA facilities at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, MO. The facility is located east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in south St. Louis city.
