This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-98-Q-2718 applies and is issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-37 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-10. The standard industrial code is 3599 and business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is for a fixed priced contract for three line items as follows. Line Item 001: Quantity 1 Each; Item Description: RV006 Dunn s Valve Tester with 4500 psi. Line Item 002: Quantity 1 Each: Item Description: HP Air Compressor Line Item 003: Data Capture (Computer) System: SPECIFICATION: Line Items 001 Upgrade 2 S.S. 3000 PSI full port isolation valve and 2 full flow line to table (b) 10 gallon electroless nickel plated ASME vessel for air and water testing 3000 PSI (j-tube) 1 S.S. full port blow down valve 5000 PSI (d) 20 gallon 4500 PSI storage with 1 S.S. full flow line to blow down valve (e) 1/2 auxiliary test port with 0-5000 gauge. Isolation valve, and drain valve testing 3000 PSI -- 4500 PSI. Line Item 002: commercial grade, oil free fully automatic -- breathing quality (4500 PSI). Line Item 003; must be Y2000 Compliant, pentium 200 MHZ, 22 MB RAM, 2 GB Hard Drive, 2 MB V-RAM Video, 24X CD ROM Drive, System software Requirements Snap master 3.2.1 CD-ROM Version Front Pannel 3.0/32 Bit, Access Data Base file created, WIN 95 CD-ROM Version, Optional Software/Hardware, Access 97 included with Office 97 Suite, IBM Touch Screen Monitor. These three items constitutes one system. Quotes will be accepted on a brand name and equal basis. Delivery of all items is required within 30 days after award of contract. Shipping requirement is FOB destination to: FISC Jacksonville DET Pascagoula, Receiving Officer, Bldg 50, Naval Station Pascagoula, Pascagoula MS 39595-3500. Acceptance will be made at destination.
