Item 0001, stainless steel load cell, minimum safety factor 3:1, accuracy +/-0.1%, load bearing elements shall be fabricated from either forged or wrought materials (no castings permitted), material compositions shall be in accordance with shacke requirements of federal specification RR-C-271 or ASTM A564, steel load bearing elements shall not have a hardness level greater than 40 HRC, precipitated hardened stainless steel (eg PH 17-4) shall be age hardened at a minimum temperature of 1025 degrees farenheit, all accessible surfaces shall be non-destructively tested per Mil-std 271 after load test and before final assembly, inaccessible area shall be visually inspected to maximum extent practical, no cracks are allowed, no indications greater than 1/16" are allowed, load test cell at 150% of rated capacity for ten minutes, certification of material composition, hardness, ndt/visual inspections, calibration and load test required.
