Must be compatible with high level workstations (SUNS AND DEC UNIX) and include the following: SCAN TIME FOR 23 CM X 23 CM IMAGE AT 25 MICRONS: 11 MIN MONOCHROME, 23 MIN COLOR; AT 12.5 MICRONS: 45 MIN MONOCHROME, 90 MIN COLOR; GEOMETRIC ACCURACY: 2.5 UM RMS OVER 23 CM X 23 CM AREA AT 8.5 MICRON RESOLUTION; BROAD RANGE OF RESOLUTION: CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE FROM 120 TO 8.5 MICRONS (210 DPI TO 3000 DPI); HIGH RADIOMETRIC UNIFORMITY: BETTER THAN 2 GRAY VALUES RMS OVER 23CM X 23CM IMAGE AREA; PROGRAMABLE REGION OF INTEREST: SCANNING WITH INTERACTIVE CONTROL OVER BRIGHTNESS AND CONTRAST. INSTALLATION AND TRAINING IS REQUIRED WITH THIS UNIT. MANUFACTURER IS VEXCEL IMAGING CORPORATION; PART # VX4000DT. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and solicitation will not be issued.
