This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Proposals are hereby requested under RFP N00189-98-R-0119. This RFP incorporated provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. FISC Hampton Roads Detachment intends to purchase the following: 115 ea. 10" or 9" VGA Monochrome monitor; 111 ea. Internal CD-ROM drive, 16X or faster; 114 ea. 1.2 GB (approx) hard drive. Will accept larger, but not smaller; 111 ea. Serial port card, 16 bit, high speed, must support high IRQ, with two 9 pin connectors; 120 ea. PS2 mouse; 100 ea. Symbol model 3100 portable data terminal with 1.1 MB RAM, 8 line display, NICAD battery pack, 46 keys, scanner, communications/charging adaptor, power supply for communications/charging adaptor; 386 ea. ONEAC ON400 XRA-30 UPS and line conditioner. Delivery is FOB destination to TDS Incorporate, 1501 Crossways Blvd., Suite A, Chesapeake, VA 23320. It is assumed, for the purpose of evaluating proposals, that $500.00 would be the administrative cost to the Government for issuing and administering each contract awaded under this solicitation, and individual awards will be for the items or combinations of items that result in the lowest aggregate cost to the Government, including the assumed administrative costs. At a minum, offers should provide this office with the following: a price proposal on letterhead or a SF 1449 for the requested items; Include unit price, extended price and total price proposed.
