Systems Command is seeking sources for furniture to provide standard
flat-surfaced desk for certain training exercises and to perform
related computer- based training. To accomplish these goals,
responsible bidders must supply descriptions and pricing for two types
of furniture: eight (8) technology capable desks and four (4) matching
tables as described below. All furniture shall be supplied only -- no
integration services are required/desired. All computer equipment
(including CPUs, monitors, keyboards, and mice) are supplied as GFE.
The Government desires to take delivery of this furniture within 8
weeks of award. Prior to fabrication, ship drawings shall be provided
by successful bidder for Government review. Technology-desks (eight
total) shall hae the following characteristics: Two-station desks, each
72"W X 32"D X 30"H, for two students each Desks shall be finished with
solid wood edge and high-pressure wood-grain Plastic Laminate top and
sides. Interior areas shall be finished in black melamine. Each desk
shall support two 15" (or larger) diagonal viewable XGA LCD flat panel
moniotrs. The monitors shall be installed into the table on
mechanical, hinged, flip-lid mechanisms to allow easy access/viewing by
students. When in the down position, table shall have a completely flat
surface. Bidders shall specify which monitor the Government shall buy.
Each desk shall have two pull-out keyboard/mice supports. Each desk
shall have integrated wire management, with easy acess on the back and
sides to allow the desks to be connected end-to-end, back-to-back, or
to the floor. Each desk shall have two integrated CPU compartments,
with inside dimensions 8"W X 20"D X 18"H Each desk shall have castors
for easy movement Matching tables shall have the following
characteristics: Two-station tables, each 72"W X 32"D X 30"H Tables
shall be finished with solid wood edge and high pressure Plastic
Laminate, wood-grain top, to match technology desks Tables shall have
four legs each with room for students to sit at the ends as well as two
at each side. Two of the legs shall have cable chases. Each table shall
have two (2) surface-mount power grommets to allow laptops to be
plugged-in. Each grommet shall have two electrical outlets and two RJ45
