D -- RECONFIGURATION OF CHANNEL EXTENDERS DUE 092498 POC Michael O. Hamilton (618)-229-9409 The Defense Information Technology Contracting Office, Information Systems Division, Procurement Branch (DITCO/DTS22) Scott AFB, IL 62225-5406 intends to issue a purchase order under FAR Part 12 on a sole source basis to In Range Technologies for the reconfiguration of In Range Technologies channel extenders at the Defense Megacenters at Dayton, OH and Ogden, UT. The purpose of the reconfiguration is to bring the channel extenders up to the most current version. This is not a request for proposal. There are no solicitation documents. Vendors desiring to submit offers demonstrating their technical capability to reconfigure the channel extenders must provide sufficient detail for qualified technicians to evaluate their proposal. If it is determined the offered proposals meet the technical requirement of the reconfiguration, a request for quotation will be issued for a competitive acquisition. Vendors must submit their proposals to DITCO/DTS22 for consideration no later than COB 24 Sep 98.
