Concerns having the ability for providing a community correctional facility for male and female Federal offenders. Those interested are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and a point of contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services required include care, custody, control, accountability, and medical services, training opportunities, and treatment, to include furnishing subsistence, and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall be in accordance with the Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work. Location of facility shall be within the northwestern boundaries of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania (Counties: Berks, Lehigh or Northampton). Estimated number of inmate days is 3,650 for two-year base period and 1,825 for option years one, two and three, respectively. Estimated RFP issue date is o/a October 5, 1998.
