20 -- TYPE 3R RADAR ABSORBING MATERIAL SOL N63394-98-R-1209 / DUE 102898 POC Contract Specialist, ELKE FOSS, (805) 228-0617, Contracting Officer, Ann Marie Hagan, (805)228-8920 PHD NSWC requires Type 3R Radar Absorbing Material in the following quantities: First Article quantity of 10 each large diameter rounds (LDRs) to extend beyond semi-circular, have a 10.0: inside diameter and have an 18.84" partial circumference, and 24" length. The contractor will delivery first article materials within 8 weeks after contract award. First article testing of the 10 LDRs will be conducted by the Government. Production quantities of 600 large diameter rounds. Of the 600 LDRs, increments of 150 LDRs will be delivered within 6, 10, 14, and 18 weeks after first article approval. All large diameter rounds will have Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) installed. First Article quantity of 30 each half rounds (HRs)10 of which will be 4.0" diameter, 10 of which will be 4.5" diameter and 10 of which will be 5.6" in diameter. Half rounds are semi-circular and are built with 4.0", 4.5" and 5.6" inside diameters and 24" length. The contractor will delivery first article materials within 8 weeks after contract award. First article testing of the 30 HRs will be conducted by the Government. Production quantities of 1,300 4.0" half rounds, 30 4.5" half rounds, and 250 5.6" half rounds. Of the 1,300 HRs, 3 increments of 300 and 1 increment of 400 will be delivered within 6, 10, 14 and 18 weeks after first article approval. All half rounds will have Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) installed. First Article samples will be shipped to West Bethesda,MD. Production units will be shipped to Port Hueneme, CA All shipments will be FOB DESTINATION. Current U.S. SECRET and appropriate facility clearance are required.
