THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number 98-Q-93 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97.06. This is a 100% set-aside for small business under SIC 5045 and size standard of 500. Quotations are requested for the following item (no substitutions will be accepted): Eight (8) each, high speed digital data encrypters, Model: Cylink, CIDEC-HSI (Triple DES) V35 unit with USA power cord, Part number HSI-03AS. Delivery shall be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO) or sooner. Quoters shall include their standard commercial warranty. All hardware, software and firmware shall be year 2000 compliant as defined under FAR part 39. Delivery is FOB Destination with all freight included in the delivered price.
