This acquisition for maintenance of a commercial item is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) under solicitation DCA100-98-Q-0305 and is an unrestricted procurement under SIC code 4899 with a size standard of 7.5M. THE RFQ WILL BE RELEASED ON OR ABOUT 31 AUGUST 1998. COPIES OF THE STATEMENT OF WORK SHOULD BE REQUESTED NO LATER THAN 31 AUGUST 1998. PROPOSALS WILL BE DUE ON 15 SEPTEMBER 1998. Performance will be at sites in Washington, D.C. and Western Maryland. The RFQ will contain a detailed listing of equipment and quantities to be maintained. Offerors shall propose firm-fixed price labor rates and an estimated not-to-exceed (NTE) amount for required parts. Offerors shall provide convincing information regarding their access to repair parts.
