solicitation is not presently available; however, the following
description is provided to assist offerors in determining their
interest in providing the requested nonpersonal services: The
contractor shall provide all labor, tools, parts, materials
maintenance, calibration, and repairs for a PQ-5000 Computed Tomography
(CT) Scanner System, Serial No. 171950D. The system includes a PQ
Integral Control Center, 8mm Cassette Archiver, Image Processing
System, Power Conditioner, Voxel Q Visualization System, Gantry,
Patient Couch, Leibel Flarschiem Angio Injecter, AGFA MG 3000 Wet Laser
Imager and an Imation Dryview 8700/8800 Laser Imager (Multi-Input). In
the event sufficient amounts of small business do not respond to this
notification, this requirement may be issued on an unrestricted basis.
The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) will be 7629. To qualify for a small
business concern, the gross revenues cannot exceed $5 million for the
last three fiscal years. This requirement will include a base year and
four one-year options. The Government may revise its acquisition
strategy and solicitation requirements based on industry requirements.
Those firms interested in being considered as a source for this
acquisition must provide the following information: 1) Company's name,
address, point of contact, telephone number and E-mail address; 2)
Business size (whether you are small or large business concern based on
the size standard mentioned above); 3) Are you an 8a firm? 4) Is this
service provided in the commercial market place to your nongovernment
sources? 5) What type of services are standard (i.e. no additional
charge) in your commercial PQ-5000 CT Scanner contracts? 6) Do you
provide commercial preventive maintenance services for a CT Scanner
System of this type? 7) What type of "corrective" maintenance services
do you provide? 8) What is your standard commercial practice for
routine and emergency response times? 9) The x-ray tube replacement and
recalibration time should notexceed eight hours. Under your commercial
practices could you comply? 10) What types of education background are
required for your maintenance, repair and service technicians? 11) Are
training certificates available? 12) Maintenance actions should not be
delayed by more than 24 hours due to the deliver of a repair part or
item. Under your commercial practices, could you comply? 13) The
PQ-5000 CT Scanner System must maintain at least an overall 95%
operational uptime. Under your commercial practices, could you comply?
