The Following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: FAR Part 52.212-1 and 52.212-4; 52.212-1(b)(8) is deleted. The associated SIC Code is 4953, and the small business standard is $6 million. This action is a 100% Small Business Setaside. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation package will not be issued. Solicitation number 98-Q-90 is issued as a Request for Quotation. All references to "offerors" are understood to be Quotations". This Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-5. Award will be made to one offeror who fully meets requirements for the pickup and destruction of confidential and sensitive waste. This is a firm fixed priced requirement for the pickup of confidential and sensitive waste for the period October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999. Services shall be provided one day per week at 7 locations within the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Charges shall be based on weight of collected waste per pound. F.O.B. Destination, Inspection and Acceptance shall be at destination. The Government intends to award a contract, to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforming to the specifications will be the most advantageous price to the Government.
