R -- DEVELOP AND REFINE A NATIONAL HEALTHY COMMUNITIES AGENDA SOL HRSA-98-BPHC-A251569 DUE 092798 POC Aileen Broider-301-443-5231 The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the Coalition for Healthier Cities and Communities, One North Franklin, Chicago, Illinois, 60606. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to provide resources to assist HRSA in their program to promote healthier communities. The contractor shall develop and refine a National Healthy Communities Agenda which will identify and document strategies for building healthier, vibrant and sustainable community infrastructures; create a forum on the Coalitions's Web site for discussion purposes; and update a directory of resources and educational tools that are available to communities through the Web site. The Coalition for Healthier Cities and Communities is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is seven months.
