The Navy requires conventional ammunition logistics support services. These services will support the NAVORDCEN Inventory Management Systems Division in the areas of evaluation, analysis, research and recommendations regarding ordnance stockpile management on a global basis for Fleet logistics operations and the acquisition and technical communities. Offerors should possess substantial experience and expertise in ordnance inventory management. This expertise is critically important as the Navy targets new efficient management disciplines consistent with the need to establish standardized ordnance logistics and inventory management processes, and will ensure that support for the initiatives of the NAVORDCEN will be available to complete the restructuring without delay. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns; the applicable Standard Industrial Classification is 8711 and the size standard is annual revenues of $2.5M. The basic contract will be for one year, and there will also befour one-year option periods. The Government will furnish various property and facilities as required for the performance of this effort. The place of performance of the majority of the effort will be NAVORDCEN Indian Head, MD.
