The project is for new construction of a 15,900 sq. ft Dining facility, complete with kitchen equipment. Bid Options will be included for new two parking lots as well as a life cycle cost option for a two new 223 ton water cooled chillers. If the new chiller option is accepted, demolition of the existing chiller plant and the associated asbestos containing materials will be included. COST FACTORS: A. Price for Base Offer and Options (to include life cycle for the chiller option). B. Change order mark up rates/extended overhead. The solicitation for the acquisition of this new facility is formatted as a Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with the requirements designated by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 for negotiated procurements. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to this solicitation will be the "BEST VALUE" to the Government, price and technical factors considered.
