The solicitation date provided earlier has been canceled and a new date is not available at this time. This CBD also provides information on a site visit of the work area. The site visit will be held on October 6, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chama Office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Chama, New Mexico. The itinerary is scheduled as follows: 10:00 a.m -10:30 a.m. -- Briefing & Overview of work; 10:30 am-12:00 -- Travel to Blanco; 12:00-12:30 pm -- Lunch (individuals are responsible for their own lunch); 12:30 pm-1:30 pm -- Site showing at Blanco Diversion Dam; 1:30 pm-2:30 pm -- Travel to Azotea baffle drop structure at Willow Creek; 2:30 pm -- Site showing of baffle drop structures and concrete box culverts along Willow Creek. Those planning to travel to the work sites must furnish their own vehicles. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended. Those arriving late at the Chama Office meeting area will be responsible for catching up to the main group. A work statement will be provided to those attending the site visit. Travel to the Blanco site is approximately 50 miles from Chama. Chama is located in north central New Mexico and is estimated at 45 miles southeast of Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
