Provide animal care services seven days per week, eight hours per day, Monday-Friday and six hours per day, Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Responsible for husbandry of animal species to include, but not limited to mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, goats, dogs and cats. Supports the needs of a population of animals that approximates 50-70. Accomplishes the sanitary maintenance of approximately 5000 square feet of animal facilities, includes indoor housing and outside exercise areas. Certification of training in the laboratory animal field by the American Association of Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS).
