The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate and award an order on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.602 and 6.302-1 with Printrak International Inc., 1250 North Tustin Avenue, Anaheim, CA. This order is to provide maintenance for the Printrak IS 2000 workstation and search interfaces for the period of October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999. The IS 2000 workstation provides access to AFIS sites throughout the United States. The maintenance plan is proprietary to Printrak International. The Government anticipates award on or about September 24, 1998. No solicitation package is available for this procurement.
