The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate and award an order on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR Part 13.602 and 6.302-1 to Western Identification Network, 9343 TechCenter Drive, Suite 250, Sacramento, CA 95826. Western Identification Network is the sole automated fingerprint identification and search system for the states of Montana, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, and Oregon that provides interface access to the database of Calfornia, Washington, and Alaska. This system shall be fully compatible with the systems currently in place and used by the U.S. Secret Servic. A firm fixed price order will be placed to cover the period of October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999. The Government anticipates award on or about September 24, 1998.
