The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, intends to acquire non-personal Contractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS) by qualified Field Service Personnel for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of Navy personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of the following Navy and Marine Corps weapons, equipment and systems: Common Automatic Test Equipment (CATE) in support of F14 aircraft and SH-3H aircraft and associated avionic systems. The proposed procurement consists of two (2) Tasks: 29796 and 30719. The basic contract period for these tasks is 1 December 1998 through 30 September 1999. Each task will also contain two (2) twelve-month option periods and one (1) two-month option period for a total of seventy-two (72) man months. This effort covers the Government's minimum needs. The solicitation will contain specifications for Contractor Field Services (CFS) as appropriate. Services will be at the Depot, Intermediate and/or Organizational level, as specified. The solicitation will contain specifications and qualifications for the types of services required. The places of performance for the tasks will be NAS Ft Worth, TX (task 29796) and NAS Jacksonville, FL (task 30719). A Labor Hour contract is anticipated. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification Number is 8711.
