The contractor shall provide an obstetrician/gynecologist who will be required to perform evaluation and treatment to female inmates at the Metropolitan Detention Center. The contractor provided obstetrician/gynecologist will also be required to provideprescriptions and follow-up appointments for these inmates. The minimum requirements for performing as an obstetrician/gynecologist includes the submission of a certification of graduation from an accredited school of Obstetrics/Gynecology; a valid and current license and registration for the medical practice of Obstetrics/Gynecology in the State of New York; and three letters of reference from individuals in the Obstetrics/Gynecology field.
