Synopsis: The Request for Proposal (RFP) for Mess Attendant Food Services for Peterson AFB (PAFB)/Cheyenne Mountain Air Station (CMAS) and Full Food Services for Buckley High Frontier Dining Facility will be issued on or about 15 Oct 98. Proposals will be due 30 days after issuance of the RFP. Upon issuance of the RFP, a copy of the RFP can be obtained by e-mailing Capt Brad Burhite at burhiteb@spacecom.af.mil. A site visit will be scheduled for 10 days after the RFP is issued and will be limited to two persons for each offeror. This site visit is not mandatory to submit a proposal but is highly recommended to understand the acquisition. Offerors shall provide at least five references of a similar nature to this acquisition on previous or current contracts going back no earlier than three years. Refer to the RFP upon issuance for a due date on the five references. The contract will be awarded to the most qualified 8 (a) firm, competitively. In order to determine the most suitable contractor for award, 21 CONS/LGCB may use pre-award conferences, site visits, oral presentations, and other methods available.
