Work includes construction of three 416,000 liter JP-8 and two 38,000 liter diesel and MOGAS above ground fuel storage tanks, spill containment berm, fuel pumps and piping, strainers, meters, portland cement hardstand and asphalt access drives, and small attendant building with electronic fuel management system. The fuel storage facility will be equipped with leak detection and monitoring equipment, oil/water separators, fire alarm system, intrusion detection alarm system, and above and below ground fuel piping. Work also includes construction of two retail fuel dispensing service islands, two bulk receiving and issuing islands, one tracked vehicle service pad, lightning protection, area lighting, vault latrines, security fencing, and site utilities consisting of water service, drainage, electrical service and telecommunications. AVAILABILITY: The bid solicitation for this project will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-ROM format only. EBS Disks will be available on or about 15 Oct 98 at no charge.
