E-MAIL: Roberta Knight, R.KNIGHT@larc.nasa.gov. NASA Langley Research Center plans to issue a IFB to Funish and Install Motor Centers in the Model Preparation Area of Building 1212C. The work to be performed includes, but is not lilmited to the following: The Contractor shall provide new motor control centers and cable support trays, including new wiring from existing panel boards, connections, and checkout of all new equipment. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between 100,000 and 250,000 and the effort shall be completed within 135 calendar days after notice to proceed. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1731 and $7.0 Million, respectively. This procurement is a full and open compettion and part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The anticipated release date of the IFB is on or about October 6, 1998, with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about November 4, 1998. The firm date for receipt of bids or offers will be stated in the IFB. Drawings and attachments only willbe available from the Bid Distribution Office 757-864-2547. All QUALIFIED responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
