purpose of the augmentor fuel control is to control proper flow of jet
fuel for afterburner spray bars over the full range of afterburner
operations. The fuel flow is directly controlled by the JFC 136-1
afterburner fuel control. It is used on the F100-PW- 229 engine, F-15
and F-16 aircraft. Government furnished drawings are not available. To
be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. The
Government is not required to delay contract award pending Source
Approval Requests (SARs). Offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as
soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR
when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the Source
will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. The
approximate solicitation issue date is 1 Oct 98. To: United
