67 -- LONG RANGE SURVELLIANCE EQUIPMENT SOL DEA-98-13 DUE 091898 POC POC: Karren Bodine (817) 837-2219 phone (817) 837-2252 fax The DEA, Office of Aviation Operations, is seeking quotes on a Long Range Surveillance System with the following specifications: 1) The vendor shall supply a long range high performance Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) multi- sensor camera system for covert surveillance operations onboard an MBB -- 105 CBS helicopter. 2)The system shall contain a high resolution Day TV sensor payload to facilitate long stand off, non observable, suspect observation. The system, will be able to view targets of interest during periods from total light to very low light. The system shall be housed in a gyro-stabilized turret that is easily mountable to the helicopter.
