This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The schedule closing date of Sep 21, 1998 at 10:30A.M. Alaska Standard. The standard industrial code (SIC) for this project is 1795. This solicitation is a RESTRICTED acquisition. ELMENDORF Air Force Base has a requirement to purchase 201 each Concrete Median Barriers, not to exceed 4,500 lb. each. Barrier consist of slots on the bottom and rebarb handle on top the barrier for forklift usage and safety. Barrier is 10' long x 24" wide bottom x 6" on top = 2'8" high. The following provisions apply 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Applies to this acquisition and any addenda 52.212-3, Advising Offerors to include a completed copy of representation and certifications-commercial items with offer, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, 52-212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Offeror whose quote offers the best value to the government based on an integrated assessment of each quote in terms of price, past performance and delivery no later than 140 days. Offerors shall complete past performance questionnaire and submit it with their quotation. The government will provide copies of past performance questionnaire to Offerors.
