intends to establish a Not To Exceed (NTC) contract for essential
repair of Angle of Attack Transmitter (AOA), a component of the USAF
F-16 C/D aircraft. Work shall be accomplished IAW Appendices A & C of
the basic contract. Item 0001 Angle of Attack Transmitters (AOA), NSN:
6610-01-222-6439WF, P/N: SLZ9695-3, 30 each. Item 0002 Angle of Attack
Transmitters (AOA) (right), 6610-01-253-1448WF, P/N: SLZ7317-2, 10
each. Item 0003 Angle of Attack Transmitters (AOA) (left),
6610-01-253-1449WF, P/N: SLZ7317-1, 10 each. To include all required
reports and data. Due to proprietary data for the manufacture of repair
parts required for the AOA transmitters Avionics Specialties is the
only source that can satisfy the repair requirment. Delivery: 30 days
after receipt of reparable end item or funded order, which ever is

award date will be 26 Oct 1998. Written procedure will be used for this

received directly from the requestor are acceptable. All responsible
sources solicited may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall
be considered. It is suggested that small business firms or others
interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the
described procurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Request for
copies of solicitations must reference the entire solicitation number,
including purchasing office identification number. To expedite your
request, limit the number of individual solicitation numbers requested
per letter to not more than 10. Don't request information on this
requirement until after the issue date. An Ombudsman has been appointed
to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the
proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the
Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or
contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues,
disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government
personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict
confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not
participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection
