The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) F404-GE-402 Engine and Modules Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Services for the period of April 99 through March 00 with an Option period of April 00 through March 01. The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis to General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), located at 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA 01910-0445. No hardware will be required, although the contractor will provide supplies necessary to perform. GEAE is original manufacturer, and only known source, possessing the requisite knowledge, experience, special tooling, and technical data required to provide the F404 GE-402 FMS ILS services.
