The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation, F11623-98-T1434, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The decription of this requirement is as follows: 2 each, MRC TROPO Satellite Support Radio (TSSR) 15 GHz Tropo TROPO/Satellite Support Radio -- High data rate Satellite Support Radio System (TSSR) capability for the Technology and Interoperability Facility infrastructure. System must be small, lightweight, easy to operate, and interoperable with other DOD communications equipment compatible with the TRI-TAC or TSSR input/output wave form specification. Must be able to support secure and non-sercure communications. Delivery is 23 April 99 to Scott AFB, IL. FOB is desination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
