The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to award a contract on a sole source basis for the following annual software maintenance for software items manufactured and provided by Wind River Systems Inc. The following items are under Software License Agreements 7784, 7785 and 10783: Tornado License Annual Maintenance Renewal SUN4 X Motorola PowerPC, 20-User License Product 130-1024, Windview Annual Maintenance, 3-User License Product 131-2520, Stethoscope Annual Maintenance, 2-User License Product 130-1041, and VX Windows Maintenance Renewal Product 130-1737. Tornado Source Update Service to include Kernel, Networking, Run-Time Libraries, File System, SCSI, Backplane Drive, Update and Target Debug Agent SUN4 Motorlax Power PC Product 130-1031 and VX-Windows Source Update Service Product 130-1031-WIND. Tornado Solaris/PowerPC, PC no. 131-1992-NZ-00, (2 user support), Windview Solaris/PowerPC PC No. 130-2520-0000 (3 user support), and VxMP Solaris/PowerPC PC No. 130-1043-0000 (1 user support). This support covers unlimited telephone support and updates as released. ALL ITEMS MUST BE YEAR 2000 COMPLIANT. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE PROOF THAT THEIR ITEMS ARE Y2K COMPLIANT. The period of performance shall be from the date of award for the period of one year. The software is located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448. The Government requires this software maintenance to support the Information and Control Division programs. This software is proprietary to Wind River Systems Inc., as they are the manufacturer and only source to provide the maintenance as requested. Award is to be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources shall provide their software maintenance agreement with their fax quote which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA 22448. The contractor shall provide in writing information stating they are a valid authorized distributor of Wind RiverSystems Inc. All responsible sources will submit their CAGE CODE NUMBER, DUNS NUMBER, TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER and certification that their company is listed in the Central Contractor Registration website.
