This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Proposals are requested to meet a construction requirement for the interior wall build out in the Civilian Health Clinic's temporary location on the Main Concourse of the Pentagon. Build out of this space is to be accomplished using moveable or demountable wall product. Moveable/demountable walls should be equipped with duplex outlets and wall switches per the provided construction drawings. Wiring for all outlets and switches should be configured to accept electrical power from junction boxes to be installed in the dropped ceiling by another contractor. In addition, the walls should provide raceways for wiring in support of information management and telephone equipment. Work will be accomplished in a secured building with limited access. Work is required to be turnkey by October 30, 1998. A detailed schedule highlighting the procedures and dates to be followed for final furniture delivery to the Pentagon shall also be included with the proposal.
