In accordance with FAR 5.205(e) this is the first of three publishings of this requirement. The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) has the following announcement: Interested sources are sought to perform payroll services in support of the Department of Defense Military Retired & Annuitant Payroll operations currently performed in Denver, CO and Cleveland, OH. The contractor shall provide the full range of services necessary to pay the military retiree or the annuitant. These services include personnel, systems(s), data processing support for system operations, and a communications network. This procurement will be conducted as part of a cost comparison under the Commercial Activity OMB Circular A-76 guidelines. A release of the draft solicitation is planned for late October 1998. The Defense Finance and Accounting Service will publish ALL information regarding this requirement on the DFAS Web Site. The internet address is www.dfas.mil.
