The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, Newport, RI, intends to solicit proposals for the fabrication, assembly, and testing of first article and production TR232( )/WQC-2 Low Frequency Transducers and TR232B/TR233B Non-conductive coated (NCC) Transducer Cable Assemblies. Two (2) each First Article TR-232( )transducers and two (2) each First Article TR-232/233 transducer NCC Cable Assemblies are required. The Goverment has a firm requirement for 48 each TR-232( ) and 48 each TR-232/233 transducer NCC Cable Assemblies and an estimated quantity of up to a maximum of 60 each TR-232( ) transducers in the first production year. Second, third, fourth and fifth year production estimated quantities will be up to a maximum of 60 each TR-232( ) transducers. Award will be made on the basis of Best Value. Evaluation factors are Technical Approach, Past Performance, Management Approach, and Price. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted. The drawing package is available in hardcopy for $400 per set andin electronic media for $280 per set. Drawing package consists of drawings for the TR-232B transducers (excluding the TR-232B CIPS). Drawings for TR-232/233 cables, as well as documents to modify cables for NCC will be provided at no cost with the solicitation.
