Amendment 0001 was issued in the CBD on or about 9/15/98. Item #2 "Rotating Flashlight Keychain" is deleted in its entirety. The Government no longer has a requirement for this item. The following item is added in its place: #2: Folding Compact Alarm Clock/Photo Frame, similar to Creative Specialties Inc. item #78E or Forrester Smith Promotional Products Item #92A. Required quantity is 21,000. This item shall have an LCD clock with alarm on one side and a mirror or photograph frame/holder on the other side. The clock compact shall fold and close. The clock shall be delivered with batteries installed and individually gift boxed. The size of the item shall be approximately 4 inches wide by 4 inches high and approximately one half inch thick. There is no specified color for the item. The following shall be imprinted in forest green and centered on the item: "U.S. Border Patrol. A Career with Borders, But No Boundaries. Check out our Website at WWW.ins.usdoj.gov". Required delivery sites and terms for this item are as stated in the original solicitation published in the CBD. In addition, the following information relating to this solicitation is provided to interested quoters: Due to the volume of phone calls received on this procurement, INS will no longer accept phone call inquiries. INS has no additional information, photographs or manufacturer information to mail or fax to vendors. Companies are responsible for accessing the CBD which is available from the U.S. Government Printing Office. INS cannot provide past CBD synopses to vendors. Offerors are encouraged to read the CBD daily to obtain any future amendments which may be issued on this solicitation. The quote due date is hereby extended to 4:30 pm Eastern Time, September 25, 1998. Quoters shall submit completed representations and certifications per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-2, with their quotes. The INS cannot make copies of the FAR available to offerors. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the FAR in order to bid on US Government procurements. The FAR is available from the US Government Printing Office and most law libraries.
